Helmut Schmidt Airport (HAM) is the city of Hamburg’s international airport. Hamburg Airport is not only the oldest airport in Germany, but, with more than 16 million passengers per year, it is also Germany’s fifth-largest airport and the largest airport in the north. Good value parking during your holiday

If you want to start your holiday in a relaxed mood, you should take advantage of Hamburg airport’s “Holiday Smart”. The advantage is not only a guaranteed parking space near the terminal, even if the car parks are fully occupied, but also the cheaper online rates. You also save yourself the trouble of going to the ticket machine. You can either park your car in the multi-storey car park P1, which is only a short walk of 150 metres from the terminal, or you can opt for the Holiday parking area on P8 and P9, from where you can walk to the terminal in approx. 25 minutes.

Offers for business travellers

If you are on the road for business, you usually don’t have much time. Parking garages P2, P4 and P5 are therefore specially designed for business customers, directly opposite Terminals 1 and 2 as well as the Plaza. This guarantees short distances to check-in and security control. Hamburg Airport offers business customers several parking products, from transaction-based billing and online parking space booking to the rental of a fixed parking space. Other services such as valet parking incl. secure, centrally located parking and interior and exterior cleaning on request are also available.

Book & reserve parking spaces online

Hamburg Airport recommends stress-free online parking space reservation. Even at full capacity, a parking space is available for you, so you can start your journey in a relaxed way and save yourself the trouble of searching for a suitable parking space. Simply select the reservation period and the desired parking area and secure a space.

Other parking spaces and car parks

For customers with reduced mobility, there are parking spaces and multi-storey car parks in the immediate vicinity of the terminals with reserved parking spaces directly at the entrances and exits or next to wheelchair-accessible elevators.

The maximum clearance height on all parking areas is 2.00 metres. If you arrive by minibus, use level 0 of the P1 car park with a clearance height of 3.00 metres.
