Salzburg – W.A. Mozart Airport is located about 4 kilometres from the city centre of Salzburg and only two kilometres from the state border with Germany. The two terminals of Salzburg Airport handle 1.8 million passengers per year. This makes SZG Airport the second largest airport in Austria after Vienna-Schwechat. The approximately 3,400 parking spaces for cars and minibuses are within walking distance of the terminal. You can choose whether to park your vehicle in an open area (short-term parking spaces P1 and P2, long-term parking space P3) or in the covered multi-storey car park P4 on one of the 7 levels. In Salzburg, you can always park centrally and inexpensively – regardless of whether you are taking off on holiday or travelling on business!

Book & reserve parking spaces online

Salzburg Airport recommends that you reserve your parking space online in advance. This way, a parking space will be kept free for you in any case. By choosing a parking space in your desired parking area and specifying the time of entry and exit, depending on departure and landing, when booking, you can secure yourself inexpensive parking rates – from €55 you can park your car safely and directly at the airport for one week and from €74 for a fortnight. All car parks are open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year and the maximum parking duration with a parking ticket is 43 days (6 weeks).

Parking and services for your holiday or business trip

You can start your holiday or business trip relaxed by securing your desired parking space in advance by booking online. Salzburg Airport offers long-term parking (over 24 hours) as well as short-term parkers the possibility to park their car safely and to get to the terminals comfortably. The P4 long-term car park is located directly opposite the terminal and is 50 metres away from it. The parking spaces are spread over seven floors, which can be easily reached by lift. Please note the height restriction of 2.10 metres at the entrance.
The second long-term car park P3 is located 150 metres south of the terminal and offers over 1,000 non-covered parking spaces. For easy and comfortable transport of your luggage, there are sufficient free luggage trolleys available on site at both parking areas.

More parking spaces

For people with limited mobility, Salzburg Airport provides disabled parking spaces. On the one hand, you will find barrier-free parking spaces in the P1 short-term car park directly in front of the terminal. On the other hand, these are located in the P4 multi-storey car park in separately marked parking spaces on the ground floor in the immediate vicinity of the exits. Furthermore, there are spacious parking areas on each floor next to the staircases, which are all equipped with lifts for the disabled.

In the long-term car park P4, six parking spaces are also equipped with e-charging points; charging is free of charge. Two of them are located on the ground floor in area E, another four on the 3rd floor in area C.

You will also find specially designated women’s parking spaces on the ground floor of P4, which are located in the direct vicinity of the exit area.

Vans or minibuses can be parked in any multi-storey car park if the entrance height is no more than 2.10 metres. If your vehicle should be higher, the open space P3 is recommended.
